Storm Desmond

The night was 5th December 2015 and there had been incessant rain and wind since the previous evening.  What would the morrow bring?  News and television reports showed the havoc flooding had caused across the west and midlands.  How did Abbey fare out?  All agreed that we were lucky to escape with the minimum of damage.  Below are some photographs, taken by Frances Holohan, to refresh your memory of that day.
