Every time when I went to my Nanny’s house when I was younger, I always used to help my Nanny make apple crumble. To this day right now she still makes it and sometimes she puts on brown sugar to give it flavour. When my Nanny was younger her mother used to make it too and Nanny took her mother’s recipe off her. It smells really nice and really tasty. The recipe is:
- Cooking Apples
- Crumble – sugar, margarine, self-raising flour
You need a spoon, a dish and a bowl.
First you stew your cooking apples. Then when finished you put your cooked apples into a dish and then put a quarter cup of sugar onto the cooking apples. Then you get your bowl and mix four tablespoons of margarine, self-raising flour and sugar. Mix with a spoon or with your fingers, then add to the dish – put your crumble on. Then put your apple crumble into the oven at 180o and wait for 20 minutes. When finished you can put whatever you want to put on top and then enjoy.
