Bread Pudding

My Great Granny

My great granny was born in Ardrahan and she moved to England when she was 17 years,  She had a family recipe with her for bread pudding.

Ingredients and Method

Old bread or cake that needs using; Soak in Milk; add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 egg, handful of dried fruit and 1 teaspoonful of mixed spice.  Leave to soak for 30 minutes.  Bake in a dish for 45 minutes.  Sprinkle sugar on top when it is out of the oven.
