Abbey and District Heritage Group was host to the ‘Our Irish Women‘ exhibition which was held in the Community Centre, Abbey from 15th to 22nd March 2019.
As part of this week-long exhibition, Abbey Heritage organised a special tribute to Aggie Whyte Ryan, the famous Traditional Fiddle Player from Ballinakill and the woman nominated to represent this locality’s ‘Irish Women’.
