There have been many successful celebrations in Abbey in the past, but ‘Abbey Village Fest 2026’ must be one of the most significant and memorable occasions. Advertising posters and photographs from the day showcase the event and give an appreciation of the work that went into its organisation.

OVERVIEW
The fact that the event was celebrated in brilliant sunshine added to the enjoyable atmosphere and to the pleasure it gave to the families, young and old, who attended. This was a celebration of ‘Community’ spearheaded by Abbey Community Development Association and huge congratulations must go to the organising committee and to the team of volunteers who made the day so enjoyable.

Children were well catered for with a variety of activities to entertain them
